Cat with a small party hat next to a fish-shaped pet-safe birthday cake in Bali

Cat parties are the quiet craft of our calendar, and honestly my favourite. A dog wants a crowd; a cat wants the crowd to behave. So we plan cat birthdays completely differently: the party comes to your villa, decor goes up slowly while your cat watches from a shelf, there are no popping balloons or squeakers, and the menu is built around what cats actually love — a tuna or chicken "cake", freeze-dried toppers and a pinch of catnip for the after-party. As a pet-bakery chef I promise: no cocoa, no xylitol, no onion or garlic anywhere near the kitchen.

What's Included in a Cat Birthday Party

Cat-Safe Celebration Cake

A savoury tuna or chicken cake with whipped-yoghurt frosting, sized for one royal portion plus guests. No chocolate, xylitol, onion, garlic or raisins — full recipe philosophy on the cakes & treats page.

Calm, Cat-Proof Decor

Felt garlands instead of balloons, a birthday throne, climb-safe props and a backdrop that doubles as a photo corner. Everything is anchored — we know exactly what a cat will try to knock over.

Gentle Play Session

Wand toys, treat puzzles and a catnip finale, paced to your cat's personality — confident clowns get an audience, shy ones get a slow burn.

Patient Photoshoot

A photographer who works at cat speed — quiet shutter, natural light, treats as bribes. 20+ edited photos in 48 hours. More on the photoshoot page.

Why Cat Parties Are Planned Differently

Cats read a room before they join it. So we schedule setup a full hour before the celebration starts, let your cat inspect every prop, and keep the guest list human-only unless your cat already lives happily with other animals. The "party" itself is 60–90 minutes: cake moment, play session, photos, nap. It sounds short — it is exactly as long as a cat wants it to be.

Most of our cat birthdays happen in apartments and villas around Seminyak, Ubud and Sanur, often combined with a gotcha-day celebration for rescues — see our puppy shower & gotcha day page, which covers kittens too. If you want the full festive look for the humans in the room, we add a grazing table and proper decor from the decor service without stressing the guest of honour.

How It Works

  1. Tell us about your cat

Age, temperament, favourite treats, things they fear — the more we know, the better the party fits.

  2. Menu and decor preview

We send the cake options and a decor mock-up over WhatsApp so you can veto anything your cat would hate.

  3. Quiet setup, calm party

We set up slowly, run the cake moment and play session, and read your cat's signals the whole time.

  4. Gallery in 48 hours

Edited photos delivered within two days — including the inevitable shot of the cat ignoring the cake.

What It Costs

Cat birthdays start at IDR 1,500,000 for the Basic package — celebration cake, calm decor set and 90 minutes of party time. The Full package from IDR 3,500,000 adds the play session programme and a full photoshoot. À la carte extras — human grazing boards, custom throne, extra prints — are on the pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a party stress my cat out?
Not the way we run it. Slow setup, no balloons or loud music, familiar territory and an exit route to a quiet room at all times. If your cat opts out halfway, we pivot to photos of cake and humans — no pressure on anyone.
What is a cat birthday cake made of?
Usually steamed tuna or chicken blended with egg and a little rice flour, "frosted" with plain yoghurt. It looks like a tiny celebration cake and smells like heaven to a cat. No cocoa, xylitol, onion or garlic — ever.
Can dogs and cats share one party?
Only if they already live together peacefully. We have done joint birthdays for bonded pairs — the dog gets a carob cake, the cat gets tuna, and the games are split into shifts.
Do you do kitten showers or adoption days?
Yes — gotcha days for rescue cats are some of our sweetest bookings. See the puppy shower & gotcha day page for how those work.
