BaliPetParty started with one beach dog, one cake and half of Berawa asking where to order one. It is now a small team throwing the safest, happiest pet celebrations on the island — built on a strange but useful pair of professions: dog training and pastry.

The Founder's Story

I came to Bali as a pastry chef and adopted Mango, a rice-field rescue with strong opinions about tennis balls, within a month. Training him properly led me into a certification as a dog trainer; baking him a first-gotcha-day cake led me into pet bakery — a discipline where everything I knew about flavour had to be relearned around what dogs can safely eat. The first public party we threw, on Berawa sand in the cool of the morning, ended with three booking requests from strangers walking their dogs. BaliPetParty was registered the following week.

Today the team includes a second trainer-handler, two photographers who learned animal handling before they were allowed near a party, and a bakery that produces every cake, pupcake and tuna torte in-house. We have celebrated street-rescue gotcha days and pedigree first birthdays, one very dignified cat's eighteenth, and more beach mornings than we can count.

What We Believe

Safety Is the Party

Every recipe is built on a hard ingredient blacklist — no chocolate, xylitol, raisins, onion or garlic, ever — and every games hour is run by a certified trainer who reads dogs for a living. Fun that is not safe is not fun.

The Animal Sets the Pace

Shy dogs get smaller parties. Cats get quiet ones. Seniors get gentler games and seats in the shade. We design celebrations around the actual guest of honour, not a Pinterest board.

Owners Should Enjoy It Too

We bring everything, set up everything and clean up everything. Your only job is to be in the photos — which, with the Full package, arrive within 48 hours.

Bali Deserves Respect

We pack out every balloon, keep beach parties small and morning-quiet, honour ceremonies and offerings, and support the shelters our rescue clients came from.

Why Pet-Safe Is Our First Word

Most of what makes human party food festive is somewhere between useless and dangerous for pets — chocolate is toxic to dogs, xylitol can be lethal in gram quantities, and raisins cause kidney failure. Our bakery exists because "just a little slice" is not a safety policy. Carob does the chocolate work, banana and honey do the sweetness, and every order starts with an allergy question. The full philosophy is on the cakes & treats page, and our home-baking guide — including the mistakes to avoid — is free in the blog.

We work across all of south Bali and Ubud — see the areas we serve — and everything starts with a WhatsApp message, every day from 09:00 to 19:00.
